What does Ultrascreen do for me?

If you are an Ultrascreen user, it gives you complete protection from insects without compromising door & window function. It's the only vertical screen, that can be supplied with a genuine brake and the only horizontal retractable screen which is genuinely frictionless.

Where can Ultrascreen be installed?

Ultrascreen is the only system which can be installed on almost any types of existing frames. Windows, doors, verandas, balconies, serverys, motor homes, boats and caravans to name a few.
Ultrascreen is suitable for both residential and commercial installations.

Is expertise or special tooling required?

DIY handypersons with power screwdriver and hacksaw (for trimming guides ) should not encounter problems when installing the original Ultrascreen. Refer to your supplier for specific details.

How long does installation take?

Your original Ultrascreen vertical fly screen system is installed in a matter of minutes! The key lies in its few components, that make the system simple and quick to install.

What makes the finished Ultrascreen roller fly screen so unique?

The answer lies in the heart of each system: the roller tube and the screen. Both are engineered to perfection. The design of the extruded alluminium tube is based on more than a decade of roller blind manufacturing experience by the Genius Group. The fibreglass screen is specifically engineered for use in our Ultrascreen system and is the result of 8 years development by Phifer Wire products, the world's largest weaver of insect screening. You can feel confident that the Ultrascreen roller tube and screen combination is the absolute best available today.

What is the "Brake"?

The brake is an exlusive patented visco-dynamic devise designed to slow the screen recoil and assist in quiet gentle stopping. The brake can be fitted to all Ultrascreen retractable insect screen except the "SMOOTH" system.

What colours?

Ultrascreen uses "Interpon" powdercoating. The aluminium components of Ultrascreen are powdercoated in 10 standard colours, now including natural anodised. Powder Coating colours not on our standard list are available, please ask our sales representative for availability and details.
Plastic accessories are supplied in Black or White.
Note: Black is the standard colour for Ultrascreen insect mesh.

Are your products guaranteed?

Ultrascreen products are conditionally guaranteed for a period of ten years from purchase date. Should your product become inoperative through faulty manufacture or parts, upon return to the Ultrascreen factory the company will repair or replace the damaged product. Post and packaging to be paid by the purchaser. The guarantee expressively excludes damage to insect mesh.
